Sunday.

We got up at 7 and had our breakfast, we also had a coffee and I emptied the dishwasher and began to refill it. I had no washing for once! We decided to go out on our mountain bikes at 9 o'clock because it was such a lovely morning. H picked a route where we started off on the track then used a bit of road and back onto the track and home. It was lovely, 36.4 miles. When we were going down a hill coming towards us were 2 cyclists climbing the hill. I said to H they are really going for it! Then as they passed us they shouted and stopped, it was our daughter and her husband. We had a chat and then carried on our separate ways. When we got back we had a coffee with a cheese and beetroot sandwich with tomatoes. H hosed our bikes down and also cut the front and back lawns. I did some more work in the garden but went in at 2.30 because we wanted to watch the tour of Spain and have a glass of wine. For dinner tonight we had a quiche with patatas bravas, runner beans and cauliflower. I hope to go for another ride tomorrow but not as long.
